NEET PG Update

The first day of application process for NEET PG started with quite a stress. The Bank branches were ill equipped to handle the huge crowd .Not only getting vouchers  from the bank but the registration process created lots of problems for the candidates. The website didnt work properly because of the heavy overload.The online registration system was glitch-ridden and many candidates who managed to register didnt get the centre of their choice.

For all the candidates who have made some mistake in their registration form can correct it by going to www.nbe.gov.in/neetpg and select    “Edit Profile” to make changes to your personal details such as address or “Edit Application” to make changes to your application data such as educational information.

The ability to edit application profile and application details will be available till 11:59 PM IST on 12 November 2012.

    hello sir ,i did my ssc and hsc and mbbs from mumbai maharastra ,my native place is in uttar prasdesh,where i belong to obc category and i have certificate from there ,so can i apply under obc category or not ,what if i apply and later not fit in obc category whether i will be consider in obc or i will be out of entire process of admission ,,next i did not get cofirmation email,iapplied on 4/10/12 so what should i do please reply me

      While filling up the registration form,On Personal Information page,you have to mention the category as per the Central list and Category based on your domicile state.In your case your Domicile State will be UP, so you can choose OBC as your category(as you hv mentioned that you have the Domicile certificate for the same).Now your Merit List will be prepared taking both into account and you will get an All India Merit Rank(To take admission in any of the NEET affiliated colleges all over India) and a State Merit Rank(to take admission in the affiliated colleges in the the state from where you hold the domicile).You can also refer to the PGME regulations as indicated in the Information Bulletin.
