There is a need to focus on Medical Education reforms to reverse the declining standards of medical education and open up new vistas of excellence in this field. In this regard Medical Council of India is organizing a National Summit on 12th September, 2011 at Manekshaw Centre, Parade Road, Delhi Cantt, to enable the sharing of ideas and to discuss various steps that the council can envisage in medical education reforms. The summit will provide an opportunity for all of us to engage in deliberations, offer suggestions and design a road map to achieve this goal.
We look forward to your active participation and involvement in this Summit. The scientific programme related to various aspects of the reform process will soon be sent to you and will also be uploaded onto website of the MCI. www.mciindia.org.
